A delicious biscuit that is both buttery and crumbly, and covered in caramelised sugar. A staple in the Piedmonts tradition, the Torcettino has a characteristic irregular shape. No two are alike, as they are always handmade. Made only with selected ingredients of the highest quality, with no preservatives or colouring agents, it is and ideal treat at any time of the day, perfect served with tea or coffee but also for a small sinful moment of pleasure.
INGREDIENTS (in order of weight); quantity in percentages
Wheat flour type ‘0’ 45 %, water, butter 32 %, sugar malt extract (barley malt), salt, brewer’s yeast.
May contain: milk, eggs, peanuts, nuts, soya mustard and lupins.
